The quintessential factor related to HIV AIDS – awareness and allow the affected people to live peacefully was highlighted at the Halappa Foundation organized ‘AIDS Awareness Campaign’ on World AIDS day on Wednesday at Chitrakala Parishat.

The college students from different colleges thronged in 1000 plus in the morning on AIDS awareness. Actress Pooja Gandhi already in to this type of program among the children addressed the younger generation to be careful in leading safe and healthy life. Pooja Gandhi signed on the notice board as part of the campaign.

The health ministry Ramana Reddy and Bangalore City Police commissioner attended the morning event.
There was no usual addresses and stage at this awareness campaign. The folk artists rendered songs in the afternoon.

Later in the evening the actress, singer Vasundhara Das reached the Chitrakala parishat to take part in the lighting of candles. Around 400 candles were lighted by Das and organizers in the evening.
